OK, let's say you have a few sites, and you want to monetize them. You can
sign-up for dozens of affiliate programs and plaster your pages with banner
ads, or you can use Products
Generator to populate your web pages with thematically-based products.
At its heart, Products
Generator enables you to search a vendor by key word and phrases for
relevant products for your site. It then imports all of that product
information into a database which you can then use to feed your site.

Products
Generator comes in several versions, ready to plug and play with
different vendors including Amazon.com, AllPosters.com, Art.com, and
eMerchandise.com.
For the purposes of our review, we looked at the Amazon.com
version. The wizard-like interface walked us through the steps of setting up a
catalog of products by entering keywords and phrases, selecting the types of
merchandise we wanted to offer, and then displaying a catalog of extracted
information.
Once you finish selecting the products desired, you need to
export the information to your web server using a SQL database, and then
publish that data to your web pages.
Products
Generator is very modular and very powerful, and while it can make it
easier to offer thematically-based products on your web site, it is not for
the faint of heart.
There are a lot of options and modules to it, and you will
need SQL ability on your web server. It's not inexpensive either; however, if
you want to hit the ground running and have the technical expertise to
implement it, Products
Generator can be an enormous help to you. For more information, click here.
