If you are getting frustrated by trying to use the built-in Windows File Viewer to view all of your different image files, then perhaps Inzomia is what you are really looking for . . .
Inzomia is a product of Maple & Star AB, a Swedish development company specializing in the creation of unique imaging solutions. Inzomia has many things going for it including the fact that the basic version is free for private use and it's quite fast at image loading and viewing. It uses DirectX technology and background image loading to perform its speedy changes. One of the neatest things about Inzomia is that is enables you to use your full screen for image viewing. It has a nifty animated toolbar that tumbles into view when needed, and you can rotate the image with a click, zoom in and out simply by sliding your mouse back and forth and holding down a button, and you can watch a slideshow from a play list. You can even create an executable slideshow file (EXE) to share with others. Another neat feature is the ability to load a web page into the built-in web browser and grab all of the images on the pages and then watch them in a slide show. Or if you prefer to do your searching and viewing locally, you can even read a ZIP file full of images with Inzomia which treats compressed files like folders. Inzomia is not an image editing utility, so you do not have to worry about inadvertently changing an image while you are viewing it. All in all, Inzomia is the perfect tool for any webmaster, graphics designer or photographer who routinely deals with tons of images and need a quick and easy way to manage and view them.
