If you have a hand-held device or MP3 player with a built-in video screen,
sooner or later you will want to watch videos on it. They might be music videos
or videos of your friends and family. The challenge is converting the video
and transferring it to your device. In my case, I wanted to transfer my videos
to my iPod, but it was a less than intuitive process. iTunes does not like
most video formats. It's real particular about what it will allow you to
import. That's why I'm glad I found Transfer
My Video by Avanquest software.

After you install Transfer
My Video, it rapidly scans your
hard drive and CD/DVD drive for video files. Whenever it finds a video format
it recognizes, it displays a thumbnail of it. you can click on that thumbnail
to preview the video. If it finds a format it does not recognize, it can
update itself and download other video codecs. Once you find a video you want to convert, you simply click on the
Convert button. Immediately, you can watch the progress of your conversion on
the right side of your screen. I converted a 7 minute Flash file in under 60
seconds; that seemed quite fast to me.

Upon completion of the conversion, Transfer
My Video copies
the converted file to your iTunes directory and launches iTunes. You can see
the preview window layered on top of your iTunes display. In fact, if you
prefer, you can run Transfer My Video from within iTunes, browsing and
converting video files at will.

If you run Transfer
My Video from within iTunes, you'll see
the conversion and receive a success message when it is complete. All that's
left is to sync your iPod with iTunes and your video will be copied to your
iPod. Easy as pie!

Transfer
My Video takes all of the challenge of copying your
